Michael Scott is carrying out his articling year at Lonsdale Law. At an early age Michael realized that he had a passion for problem solving. Whilst in law school, this passion grew leading Michael to discover that his particular area of interest centred on litigation. For Michael, ensuring that all individuals are effectively represented whether through settlement or before the courts, and treated with respect is of the utmost importance. Given this, it was a logical choice for Michael to focus primarily on civil litigation.
He attended University of British Columbia where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. Michael pursued his law degree at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops.
Michael has lived in Vancouver for most of his life. However, he had the opportunity to live in Santiago, Chile for two years whilst he was in elementary school, and in turn, learned how to speak Spanish.
In his spare time, Michael likes to play goalkeeper for his soccer teams. He also enjoys honing his rhythm and guitar skills and singing backup vocals for his cover band formed in law school.
